LEGACY
2 Chronicles

WHAT LEGACY WILL YOUR STUDENTS LEAVE? After all, everyone has a kingdom…a realm of influence! We all make decisions, lots of them every day. Our decisions not only impact our lives but the lives of people around us. Our personal legacy is determined one decision at a time. The kings of Judah impacted generations of people through their decisions. That’s why decisions are important.

THEEE QUEST
Genesis
What would cause a person to leave family and friends to move to a foreign land? A Quest, that’s what! Abraham left familiarity in the dust as he pursued God’s plan for his life! This unique study of Genesis 12-40 will bring the Patriarchs into your students’ everyday experience! The Patriarchs’ pursuit of God’s Will can be your students’ Quest, too!
NEW WIND, FRESH FIRE
Acts, Part 1
Chapters 1-12
This riveting study of the early growth of the Church will help your students understand the incredible price that others have paid to insure that the Faith would be delivered to them! They will hear from Peter, Stephen, Philip, and others who will show them the true meaning of courage! They will be encouraged in their determination to pass on the flame of God’s truth—His light and His love—to those who follow!

Educating children in a world of “pick and choose” values is not an easy task! We want our children to be able to distinguish right from wrong when others are throwing values into a "cultural blender"! We want students to embrace solid biblical values that last them for a lifetime.

That is why it is so imperative that we present godly values to our youthful charges in such a way that they will receive them gladly, not halfheartedly. Global Youth Ministry has developed a three-fold program that does just that. We begin with a Basic Curriculum that utilizes your regular weekly Chapel program to communicate Scripture with excitement. A second exciting component is a mentoring program that actively involves your entire student body in small group interaction. The final component is the opportunity for your seniors to participate in Global University, a 10-14 day “on-site” classroom in Israel, London, and/or Rome! This “senior trip” seamlessly blends fun and excitement with active learning opportunities which place a capstone on all your Christian education.

You may choose one or all of these facets of this exciting program to build Christian leaders who see both the "small print" and the "big picture!"

1. GRADES 6-12 Learning God's Global Purpose!

MATERIALS FOR CHAPEL PROGRAMS
Global Youth Ministry is "Theee Resource" for curriculum materials that will take your Middle School and Upper School students on an interactive journey through Scripture using your regular chapel program!

Our chapel curriculum is designed to fulfill most of your basic Bible course obligations in the core curriculum. By maximizing your chapel time for effective Bible teaching, you can free valuable classroom time for more subjects! The chapel materials provide a well rounded and exciting Basic Bible Curriculum for all your students through their middle and high school years! You may choose to offer only foundational subjects in your regular classroom course offerings—such as Old and New Testament survey—plus advanced elective courses like Ethics or Christian Leadership!

Chapel programs can become the highlight of the school week! Students participate in and help lead each week of the 7-year curriculum. The students will enjoy this approach and gain a long-lasting education in Bible! These materials have been field-tested with Christian teenagers. Not only that, we strive for balance! To give every semester its own freshness, the materials are equally divided between hard-hitting, issue-oriented topics and verse-by-verse expository of Scripture!

2. GRADES 11-12 Leading Others!

MINISTRY ACTION THROUGH CARE GROUPS SERVICE
A second dimension offered through this program is Mentor Groups, composed of groups of 6-12 students led by trained upperclassmen.

Mentoring Benefits Older Students! First, an elective Leadership course enables 11th and 12th grade students to develop life leadership skills. They will learn to become godly stewards of their most valuable asset...their positive influence.

Second, upon qualifying, selected upper classmen may have the privilege to lead “mentoring groups” of younger peers. Chapel materials are designed to enable these groups—composed of 6-12 students each—to meet weekly for prayer and sharing based on the weekly chapel program!

Mentoring Benefits Younger Students! Studies have shown that younger students also benefit tremendously from a mentoring program led by qualified older students! They respond to and follow positive leadership from older peers on campus to develop personal spiritual disciplines!

Mentoring Benefits Your Entire Student Body! One exciting byproduct of these mentoring groups is that over a few semesters the over-all morale of your student body will get a huge boost as students interact with each other around the principles of God’s Word! Friendship, unity, and school spirit will improve! We've seen it happen! It works!

3. GRADE 12 Living For God's Glory!

MISSION AWARENESS FOR SENIORS!
As the final “Horizon” of their continuing high school education in God’s global purpose, your seniors may choose to take their education to an international city where they will receive an enlightening perspective on life in a unique setting.

Global Youth Ministry has developed an exciting motivational tool to cap off students’ spiritual journey at your school with Global University’s “On-Site Classroom”...in Israel (or London or Rome)! There, your seniors will have the adventure of a lifetime where the fun and activity of a “senior trip” blend seamlessly with discovery about God’s global purpose for their lives in our shrinking “global village.” Students will be given awesome “on-site” instruction concerning God’s purpose for the nations at our “On-Site Classrooms”—locations where Christian history has impacted the world. Our "hands-on" approach to Scripture will motivate your seniors to evaluate their career choices, their lifestyle, and their priorities in an unparalleled setting. These young men and women will be challenged to examine—and pursue—God’s purpose for their generation, and give them help in discovering God’s purpose for the nations...AND how He desires to utilize their unique skills and abilities!
