Global Youth Ministry and its related ministries are actively involved in serving, teaching, and mentoring the world’s youth through youth oriented mission projects, leadership training events, and youth camps worldwide on almost every continent.

With over 2 billion youth in the world, the need is massive and cooperative action is essential to success. The future is in the hands of the young, but equipping the young to live for Christ is in our hands right now! Global Youth Ministry wants to come alongside and help youth reach out in a significant way to touch their world and thereby change the world for the best. The time is right. The task is noble. Global Youth Ministry is headquarted on the beautiful campus of Fort Mountain Retreat & Conference Center located near the summit of Fort Mountain in the North Georgia Mountains in between Ellijay and Chatsworth. Perched high atop Fort Mountain, the Fort Mountain Retreat & Conference Center overlooks the beautiful North Georgia landscape 3,000 ft below!

Whether it is one of our planned conferences you desire to attend to assist your ministry with youth, or you just need the perfect location for your next youth or adult training retreat, we are ready to assist you!  Our ministry seeks to connect in a meaningful way with other ministries to reach the whole world for Christ.  We want to serve you and your Christian gathering in the unparalleled beauty of the North Georgia Mountains.

Our primary mission is to reach young people around the world. We recognize that it takes all of us working together to accomplish the larger mission to reach the whole world for Christ. Fort Mountain Retreat & Conference Center is a perfect setting for inspirational and educational events for like-minded organizations, church groups, individuals, etc. In addition to our training and conference facilities, team-building activities abound for every age group, everything from a serene stroll through the woods to the high adventure Alpine Tower. It is the perfect setting for inspiration and instruction.

Our trained staff is eager to assist you with programming opportunities, team building activities, and more for up to 300 participants. In fact, our emphasis here is to train young leaders to serve. Your presence and your ministry contribution enables us to fulfill our training mission while we serve your mission!

While we do not provide customary “hotel-type” services to our overnight guests (extra towels, daily cleaning, etc), we do hope that you will find our accommodations more than acceptable, and our ministry staff and trainees eager and available to meet your needs to the best of our ability. Unless otherwise requested, our guests usually bring their own linens, towels, etc., and assist us in other ways to reduce the costs involved in providing for your stay. Please feel free to make special requests, inquire about the amenities we do provide and discover other ways we can work together to advance Christ’s Kingdom.
